Fuller Automotive
We've decided to stop using Fuller's Automotive after a frustrating experience that left us disappointed with their service. We recently brought one of our trucks in for an inspection and paid for it. However, Fuller's told us they couldn't go ahead with it because of some paperwork issues. Even though our truck was registered, we only had last year's paperwork (this has never been an issue with them in previous years). They said they'd give us a refund but didn't follow through. When we asked if we could use the credit for another truck, they said it wasn't possible. It's pretty baffling that they took our money when they couldn't actually do the inspection and just said it was their "procedure." But what really bugged us was how they treated us during our interactions. Our assistant manager called them in the morning and got frustrating responses. When I called later, I talked to someone who claimed I had spoken to them earlier ("My answer's haven't changed from when I talked to you this morning") without even checking if it was me or someone else from our company. It would have been more professional to ask if we'd talked earlier, which we had not. When I asked about why they had promised a refund at the counter, they replied with, "I don't know why he said that, if he even did say that," basically implying our assistant manager was lying. To sum it up, our experience with Fuller's was marked by rudeness, unprofessional behavior, a reluctance to do their job, and a lack of organization. They took our money for a service they couldn't provide without any warning. Because of this, we've decided to go elsewhere for our automotive needs, and we recommend others do the same. Fuller's Automotive doesn't live up to the standards of good service and professionalism that customers should expect.
There are several "inconsistencies" in these statements regarding what actually occurred, and we agree that our attempts to communicate with various employees was indeed a "frustrating experience". We do maintain the State of Massachusetts procedures for inspection stickers and a refund was indeed applied. Unfortunately, it was not in the "conveinant" manner that the customer was requesting. Regardless, we feel that this review is simply an individuals retaliatory attempt to slander our operation because we would not extend the franschise he operates credit or pass a vehicle that did not meet the necessary state requirements. Google reviews are a great tool for the consumer and we respect the individuals feedback as well as our ability to "Reply".
