They keep telling me that things are wrong with my car, but every second opinion I get disproves it. This has happened multiple times, so I feel like they're trying to scam people who don't know about cars. Last time they told me that my oil pan was rotten and i HAD to replace it before winter or it would rot through, and they can do it that same day it'll just cost like $100. Brought it to my mechanic and they told me that Fuller's was trying to scare me so I'd let them charge me more that day. They said it was a tiny bit rusty and just needed a coat of paint. Just be careful and always get a second opinion! I definitely won't be going back though.
Cori, I left you a voice mail regarding this review and wanted to discuss your prior communications with us as well. During your last service we supplied you with a picture of your oil pan (invoice #92288) as means to transparently inform you of its condition. The invoice specificly says: " Oil pan beginning to rot. Not leaking, recommend replace soon". I am sorry that you or a competitor has the opinion that we were trying to "scare or scam" you, but painting it is definitely NOT the answer. One of the many reasons we digitally document our inspections is to prove, validate and stand behind our findings, beyond just an "opinion". It is our opinion that replacing this pan sooner than later would be beneficial vs the potential issue if left unattended. The pan and location on this make and model has a high rate of failure and you can see the metal lip seperating. Not informing you of its condition while in our shop for service would be professionally irresponsible. Enjoy the Holidays and whether you return or not. Thank you for your business.
